Whether it was planned or not, Rihanna let the cat out of the bag about good friend Katy Perry’s wedding plans.
While talking with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, the “Umbrella” singer revealed that Perry will wed fiance Russell Brand in India (where the couple got engaged) later this year.
Continuing on, as Perry’s BFF, Rihanna is in charge of planning the all-important bachelorette party, she said.
“She put that on me last week,” Rihanna told Seacrest. “I have to come up with something cool because she’s getting married in India so I’m like ‘Okay, now what do I do to match that?’”

The 25-year-old I Kissed A Girl singer is so loved up with fiance Russell Brand she told Rolling Stone magazine she is ditching the fun, flirty lyrics of her hit first album One Of The Boys, and her new album is 50 per cent love songs.
Katy said: “I want to evolve like Madonna – if I had to be the fruity pin-up girl another day, I would jump off the Hollywood sign.”
She also revealed the songs on her new album, which see her re-team with producers Dr Luke and Max Martin, explores “my faith, my conviction and awe of the supernatural world”.
But Katy, who agreed to marry former party-loving lothario Russell, 34, after a whilrwind romance and a proposal at the Taj Mahal, hasn’t completely toned down her act.
The Prince-inspired track Dressing Up, includes the lyrics “You wanna pet my kitty?”, “You’re such a dirty doggy” and “My cookie monster wants a taste”.
Katy protested: “I think those lyrics are cute!”

Looking lovely on the cover of Nylon magazine, Katy Perry dished about her new music and her thoughts about other artists in the latest issue.
The “Waking Up in Vegas” singer spoke of the multiple different female singers out and what makes her different, telling, “You’ve got GaGa, who’s like, from outer space; you’ve got Ke$ha, who’s the beer-drinking, house-party girl; and then you’ve got Rihanna, who’s transforming the urban world into her own outer space.”
But Perry feels there’s something more needed in the mix. “I feel like you’re missing an Alanis Morissette, in 2010. I love how she was a voice for a lot of people who couldn’t explain their feelings. But it’s not like I’m not gonna compete. I love a good dose of healthy competition. It’s not going to be the same that they’re doing…”
Perry also opened up about what she and Taylor Swift have in common, saying, “Sometimes I really feel like I’m more of a Taylor Swift. She tells stories, and I think that’s why she resonates with a lot of people. She hits the hidden chord in them [where they say], ‘Oh my God, I’ve been through that too,’ or ‘You said it in a way I could never explain.’”

The singer is totally loved up and told the Sun that our Russ is a “genius” and she is smarter “just by standing next to him”.
Katy also shared far too much, joking about Russell’s reputation as a womaniser. “Can you imagine the kind of responsibility I have with his reputation?
“I’m bedridden most of the week.”
According to the newspaper, Katy said in a magazine interview that Russell was “the boss” in their relationship, adding, “I like that. I’ve been waiting for someone I couldn’t steamroll.”
Katy has also shared details of Russell’s propsal, “It involved fireworks, elephants, Indian dancers, horse-drawn carriages and tens of thousands of flower petals.”
Russ, ever the romantic, gave his missus-to-be a ring with two rubies in it to represent her independence, with the inscription: “The one I’ve been waiting for”.
The 25-year-old singer said: “I love it. I’m glad he didn’t go for the ‘every other b**** in Beverly Hills is wearing it as well’ ring.”
Fans of Katy will be interested to know the singer has written a song about her beau called Not Like The Movies for her new album.
But don’t worry, Katy doesn’t plan to tone things down once she becomes a married woman. She said: “I’m marrying one of the world’s most scandalous men. How is that toning down?”
