Katy has been nominated for Best Song for “I Kissed A Girl” for the 2009 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards!

“Katy Perry’s song “I Kissed A Girl” was the lead single off of her album, “One of the Boys.” The song is super catchy and it became a major worldwide hit, topping the charts in over 30 countries, including Australia, Canada and England. It was nominated for a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Katy is One of the Girls taking home one of the blimps at KCA ’09.

Fun fact: Katy Perry worked on her album, “One of the Boys,” for about six years.”
